JOANNEUM RESEARCH, headquartered in Graz, is a successful research institution with a national and international outreach owned by the Austrian Provinces of Styria, Carinthia and Burgenland. Well embedded in the international innovation network, our researchers provide innovation in the strategic thematic areas “Information and Production Technologies”, “Human Technologies and Medicine”, and “Society and Sustainability”.

Around 500 employees use their ideas, innovative strength and extensive research experience to support companies and public institutions not only in the development of technologies, methods and products, but also in social issues.
