IV – Industriellenvereinigung (Federation of Austrian Industries)

The Industriellenvereinigung is the voluntary and independent representation of the interests of Austrian industry and its related sectors.

A supporting organisation is most valuable when it provides direct support to its members. By maintaining close contact with our members, we strive to develop solutions for individuals and also for broader challenges.

Since our foundation in 1947, we have considered ourselves to be a platform for industry representatives. Especially in today’s fast-paced society, the building of communication networks on a regional level is of utmost importance.

We also see ourselves as an industry think-tank, responsible for shaping political and socio-political conditions. We strive to accelerate Styria’s development within an internationally competitive market.

Representation of interests

One of our main tasks is representing industry’s interests with regard to Styria’s legislative and administrative bodies. Styria’s competitiveness as an industrial region and the needs of its businesses are our top priority.

Service

A member must and should expect help from their supporting organisation in solving individual problems. Our employees strive to provide prompt and competent assistance with any problems that arise. Our services include representation of interests, networking, press work, individual support and organising company events. Furthermore, we communicate with our members through newsletters, an industry’ magazine, press summaries and apps.

Network

The IV informs its members about the latest industry-related developments as they occur. We follow a proactive approach and keep up with the rapid development of events, so that we can influence the outcome for the benefit of our members.
