Green Tech Cluster

The Green Tech Cluster stands for growth through green innovation and focuses on active project development in the areas of “Green Energy” (Climate Solutions) and “Green Resources” (Circular Solutions). We work closely with more than 220 companies and research institutions in Austria. We support our cluster partners with R&D project development, technology trend scouting, opening up market opportunities as well as providing global contacts within the Green Tech community. We focus on initiating joint innovation projects as well as providing our partners with an international stage for their innovations and solutions.

The Green Tech Cluster is one of the top-rated clusters worldwide. Over the past 10 years, our partners have doubled employment and tripled sales, but most importantly, their technologies and innovations have made global contributions to climate protection.

Expansion of the Green Tech Valley:

• Further expand Green Tech Valley with its Climate and Circular Solutions and make it fit for the international stage

• Support cooperation, attract talent, develop innovation culture

Focus on innovative solutions:

• Focus on the development of innovative solutions instead of individual technologies

Push cutting-edge research:

• Promotion of excellence and cooperation in research and development

• Development of new competence centres and establishment of new entrepreneurial innovation centres in the fields of Climate and Circular Solutions

Our goals:

• 1,000 additional green tech researchers & developers at the site

• 100 million € (co-)initiated cooperation volume

• 5,000 additional Green Tech employees in regional companies
